My buddy Jon came down and helped me finish riveting the left HS skin. Jon shot while I bucked. He had the timing down to a science, and I finally got the hang of bucking "blind" -- my arm tucked up underneath a bit of peeled back Alclad skin, trying to keep the bucking bar level and centered on the rivet's shop head.

We were on a roll, so we cranked through most of the rivets on the HS right side spar.

This was refreshingly easier than bucking blind, since the underside skin naturally springs up and away from the skeleton, allowing full access for bucking. Here's a picture of the rivets in the spar. Seen this all before (on the left side), I know, but I'm just getting this down for the record.

I prepared and primed the VS rear spar channel and stiffener. Here's the stiffener hanging before being primed.

Once the primer was dry, I clecoed the spar and hinges together.

Using the pneumatic squeezer (how did I ever get by before having this sucker?!) I riveted the spar together. A few of the rivets were tricky, like the center ones up against the hinge brackets, but they came out great.

Here's the front side of the spar. You can see that below a certain point, the rivets are AN426 flush instead of AN470 round head rivets. This is so the vertical stab lies flat where it attaches to the fuselage.
